The leak was tweeted by MMXNewscaster, a source of leaks related to Micromax mobiles. The tweet said, "Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 to be the First Full HD (1080p) phone from Micromax. As of now, not many other details have been revealed about the alleged Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 smartphone.

Of late, many handset manufacturers like Intex (Aqua i7), Wickedleak (Wammy Passion Z+); Spice (Pinnacle FHD) and Gionee (Elife E6) have launched full-HD display smartphones at competitive prices in India. However, Micromax has been still sticking to less than full-HD displays for its flagship smartphone, the Canvas 4 and even for phablet, the Canvas Doodle 2.

Micromax is yet to confirm the Canvas Turbo A250, but with displays becoming a more important part of the smartphone experience, it seems more than likely that the full-HD display smartphone from Micromax is coming soon.

  • Vertical panorama
  • Free view angle
  • No color shift
  • 1080p recording speed
  • Face detection
  • Anti shake feature
  • Video pinning

And more
Now we will unveil all features of the Canvas 4 in detail one by one.

Design:

The Canvas 4 has 8.9mm anodized aluminum body that steals the show as it has super slim touch which is rounded off with the help of 100 finishing processes. Adding more, the body doubles up as antenna for improved call quality.
The top side of the phone has Wi Fi, GPS as well as BT Antenna while bottom part of housing has GSM as well as WCDMA.

With Canvas 4, you can actually shoot to thrill. You can easily shoot the videos and Images in 13 MP camera at the back for vivid detailing. The 5 MP camera is great as well and they have the Sony Sensor.
If we talk about the interface of the camera then it is exactly the same as rest of the mid range Android 4.2 gadgets available in the Indian markets. There is a left navigation bar for easy access to features like HDR, Burst shot, Panorama and smile shot. On the right side there are two buttons for shutter use. The features of OIS and zero shutter lag enable you to easily handle ISO and white balance of the shots. With ISO 1600 of the camera you can click images in two aspect ratios- 4:3 and 16:9.

What’s the actual performance?

While operating camera practically, there are glitches of color noise in capturing bright pictures. Also the auto focus of the camera is slow leading to long adjusting time when taking shots in broad day light. Altogether on looking at the final pictures the shot came out really well with balanced color and brightness. The LED flash is quite loud while Panorama feature to capture vertical shots is impressive. However there is nothing new about the HDR mode in the phone.
You can shoot the panorama shots from bottom to top. You can shoot clear and crisp images using the rear camera that has auto focus, flash and Sony stacked image sensor features. Further, the handset supports 1080p HD recording as well as playback.
You can even connect on personal level using the 5 MP front facing camera and enjoy video chatting of great quality. The users can also record the HD Videos in 30FPS. Just zoom in and out with Canvas 4’s 4x optical zoom.
The continuous shots feature of the phone helps you to take around 99 shots in a single go. More, the users can adjust the exposure right at all locations with its High Dynamic Range photography. With its anti shake facility, you can now say goodbye to blurred and unclear images or videos.
Now finally wrapping up the performance and features of Canvas 4 A210’s Rear Camera is definitely worth a shot. There are few glitches but it is a huge leap from Canvas HD’s 8MP camera.

Multitasking:

You can easily pin the videos to the display and also multitask at the same time between different apps. Just drag or swipe the apps to the display and that too without missing not even a single moment of your video. Just tap video pinning icon at bottom of videos menu while you watch some video in order to enable the video pinning option.

Look away facility:

Now you can focus on the important activities with look away option which pauses the video that you may be watching as you look away from the display. This is so because the handset can easily detect when the user looks away from the phone and thus automatically pauses the video. As you look back again at the phone, it resumes the video.

Watch videos simultaneously:

With Canvas 4, you can preview some other video without even pausing the one that you are currently watching.

Swipe it off:

You can swipe to decrease or increase the volume as well as display brightness with a single swipe. Swipe vertically on left to control the brightness level and swipe right to adjust the volume.

Half-half:

You can now do two things at the same time by pinning the browser on half the display and using the other half for doing some other thing on your Canvas 4.

Answering/dialing:

You can simply answer a call by brining the phone close to your ears. Also, just choose a contact and bring Canvas 4 close to the ear to dial a number. This can be done by enabling the Smart Gestures under Settings menu. You need to activate the “proximity answer phone” facility in smart gestures menu as well as the proximity dial phone” to make the calls just by brining your phone close to the ear.

The Power VR SGX 544 graphics processor enables the users to see visuals that are crystal clear in quality and clarity. The data speed + HSPA include 42mbps download as well as 11mbps upload.
