Lava launches Jelly Bean running 3G 356 and 3G 402

Popular smartphone manufacturer in the country, Lava has launched two smartphones in the entry-level 3G Android smartphone segment, namely Lava 3G 356 and Lava 3G 402.

The Lava 3G 356 smartphone is priced at Rs 4,499, while the 402 is priced at Rs 5,499.  The former comes in white, black and grey colours, while the latter comes in white, grey and red colours.

This smartphone is powered by a dual-core processor and runs the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with OTA upgrade. The 3G 356 smartphone sports a 3.5-inch display, and it is fuelled by a Li-ion battery with 1500mAh capacity and proximity sensor for longer battery life for up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand-by time.

This smartphone sports a 4-inch display and runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Lava 3G 402 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. All this is fuelled by a 1500mAh battery.

The 3G series comes with 512 MB ROM + 256 MB RAM, which can be expanded by up to 32GB through external memory card. The accessories that come bundled with the smartphones include a screen guard and a silicon soft pouch.
